Quick blog tonight to acknowledge and share the interview I recently gave.
I’m very lucky to have the privelege of being friends with Jemima Hughes. As well as being a totally lovely human being, Jemima is an astounding poet. I first saw her perform at the Swindon 23rd Poetry slam in 2019 where she deservedly took the winners spot. It is always an amazing experience to watch her perform. Her first collection ‘Unorthodox’ is now available from Verve Poetry Press.

Jemima is also a vocal mental health advocate and publishes interviews fortnightly on a variety of conditions and problems as told by the people affected by them. I was really honoured to be able to give an interview on Bipolar, Autism and Self Injury. You can find it by clicking here. The video underneath is a performance of one of my poems called 1am. Trigger warning: It discusses self injury quite frankly.
